How can I deposit money with BitPay?
This payment option is currently available in selected countries only. If you don’t see it in the Deposit section in your account, this means you can’t perform such deposits.
With BitPay you can deposit fiat money to your Skrill account from an external crypto wallet. We currently accept payments in Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Tether (USDT) and USD Coin (USDC) only. Stay tuned for future updates.

Note:
- Your Skrill account must be fully verified to deposit with BitPay.
- You need to have a registered and verified BitPay account.
- You can only deposit fiat money (EUR, USD, etc.) from an external crypto wallet to Skrill.
- Funds deposited with BitPay cannot be used for payments to gambling and forex merchants. Depending on your country the money may not be available for bank account withdrawals too.
- The crypto wallet addresses provided by BitPay for crypto transfers may vary for each transaction. It's crucial to always initiate your BitPay deposit from Skrill, complete each step following the onscreen instructions and use the correct wallet address displayed for the unique payment. If you make a deposit that's not associated with an invoice from BitPay, recovery of the money won’t be possible.
How long does it take to receive my deposit?
Receiving the money in your Skrill account balance when depositing via BitPay may take as little as a few minutes up to 1 hour. BitPay deposits’ processing timeframe depends on how fast your transaction collects the required number of block confirmations on the network.
What are the limits and fees?
Upon initiating a transaction, you’ll see displayed your current limits as per your account status and selected type of transaction.
You can check the deposit fees on our Fees page or within the Deposit section of your account.
All fees applied by Skrill will be visible to you on the transaction summary screen. A network fee may also be applied, which is beyond our control. It is paid to crypto miners and validators for verifying transactions on the blockchain and keeping the network secure. This fee is added on top of the total crypto amount for your deposit.
Where can I see my transaction history?
You can review all your payments in the Transactions section in your Skrill account. Additional details of your BitPay transfers you can see on your BitPay account Dashboard.
