Croatia is adopting the Euro. Will there be any changes on my account?
In regard to Croatia joining the Eurozone, and the Croatian Kuna (HRK) being replaced by the Euro (EUR) from 1 January 2023, there will be some changes to the Skrill accounts of the customers whose account until now have been in Croatian Kuna.
What do I need to do?
The change will be automatic, so there's no need for you to do anything.
How will the change happen?
On 3 January 2023, Paysafe will automatically switch your HRK account to EUR. Once your EUR account is activated, all the funds from your old HRK account will be transferred into the EUR using the conversion rate: 1 EUR = 7.53450 HRK. All your Skrill account details, verification levels, etc. will remain unchanged.
Will I be able to see my old transaction history?
When you login into you Skrill account, you will see your balance in EUR. The first transaction in your history will be the funds transferred from your HRK account. Your old HRK account transaction history will be accessible via your transaction history page (you choose which account history to view via a drop-down menu). All transactions made after your EUR account is activated will be reflected in your EUR history.
Will the crypto orders and alerts I have set be affected?
Any conditional and recuring crypto orders as well as crypto price alerts you have set so far are based on your primary account balance in HRK. They cannot be modified to link to your new primary balance in EUR once created. Therefore, we will deactivate all scheduled crypto orders and alerts you have on 3 January 2023.
Once your account balance is switched to EUR, you can visit the Crypto section and create new crypto price alerts and scheduled orders.
