Skrill USA Inc announces lifetime rewards for its customers
Skrill USA Inc recently announced the launch of new user account levels for digital wallet customers. Customers who download the Skrill mobile app, complete verification and make an eligible deposit can ‘level up’ to become a ‘True Skriller’ and unlock a series of lifetime benefits without paying any additional fees. Among the extra features and rewards available today, customers can withdraw money to their bank account for free, apply for a free Skrill Visa® Prepaid Card, access bonus Skrill Knect loyalty rewards, enjoy higher transaction limits and benefit from more deposit methods.
This move shifts the focus on incentivising digital wallet customers to complete the three requirements and is a great example of our commitment to ensuring that merchants get the most out of our U.S. customer database. Skrill USA Inc launches Skrill Virtual Visa® Prepaid Card
After launching the physical Skrill Visa® Prepaid Card for U.S. customers in January 2020, Skrill USA Inc unveiled a virtual version of the card this May. Available to all verified U.S. customers, the first application is free and the Skrill Virtual Visa® Prepaid Card is instantly activated and added to their wallet, allowing customers to shop online anywhere Visa is accepted. Skrill customers also earn points under the Skrill Knect loyalty program for every dollar spent with the virtual card. Points are redeemable for cash above the 5,000 Knect-point threshold as well as other rewards.

And the award goes to…
The eGaming Review (eGR) North America Awards are the leading online gambling industry awards for the U.S. and Canadian market, and this year’s virtual ceremony saw Paysafe recognized as the best ‘Payments Provider’ in the space. The award acknowledged Paysafe’s payment processing and gateway, its Skrill digital wallet and paysafecard eCash solution as providing best-in-class payments support to North American online sportsbooks, iCasinos and iLotteries over the last 12 months.
How COVID-19 has changed the payments landscape
86% of consumers have changed their online payments habits according to new research commissioned by Paysafe for its latest Lost in Transaction: Consumer payment trends report. And one of the most significant shifts is an increased use of digital wallets. Almost a quarter (23%) of all consumers used digital wallet for the first time in the past 12 months, and a third (32%) are using digital wallets more frequently than last year. In some countries such as Italy, digital wallets are now the most popular online payment method.
