What is the Analytics tool, and how do I use it?

The Analytics Tool provides a quick visual snapshot of your finances, highlighting your spending, earnings, and overall cash flow using your Skrill transaction history.

You can explore financial patterns through pie and bar charts. Whether you’re a frequent shopper, trader, or sports bettor, the tool helps manage your money.

How do I navigate the Analytics tool?

To access the feature, log into the Skrill mobile application and tap the chart icon at the top-right corner of the home screen or go to the Analytics section on the Skrill website. You can also quickly view your insights from the home screen widget.

You can browse the following layers of information:

  1. Overview: See your total spending, income, and net Cashflow for the selected period and currency.
  2. Category Breakdown: Explore how your money moves across key areas like deposits, withdrawals, merchant payments, P2P transfers, crypto, and more.
  3. Transaction Breakdown: Get a clearer view of your financial activity by exploring detailed insights into specific transaction types, including:
  • Purchases and withdrawals made at a specific merchant
  • Deposits or withdrawals using a particular payment method (e.g., VISA, Mastercard)
  • Total buy and sell amounts for each cryptocurrency you've traded
  • Combined Skrill to Skrill transfers sent to or received from individual recipients
  • Skrill Card spending totals, organised by category
  • Other activity: review uncategorized transactions like loyalty redemptions, maintenance fees, and more.

Each layer builds on the previous one, offering a clearer picture of your trends and helping you make more informed decisions.

Available transaction types may differ based on your location and the payment methods you use.

Why are some transactions missing from my analytics?

Some transactions might appear in the Other activity category, found at the bottom of your transaction breakdown.

Furthermore, if you reside in a country with multiple time zones, transaction data will be displayed using the primary time zone to maintain consistency. To view the primary time zone for each country, tap the Info icon in the top-right corner of the Analytics tool main page and select primary time zone.

Why are older transactions not included in my insights?

As we’re gradually feeding transaction data in the Analytics tool, transactions from previous years may not appear yet. You can still access information about all your payments in your transaction history.
