What should I do if I can't add or verify my email address?
You can only change or verify your registered email address while logged in via a web browser.
There are a few possible reasons why you can’t add your email depending on the error message you receive.
There has been an error in processing your request
This means that there were too many unsuccessful attempts to change your primary email address, or there was a technical issue. Allow 24 hours to pass from your most recent attempt and try again.
This email address cannot be added. Please try a different one
This typically means that you already registered a Skrill account with this email address. You can only have one active account at a time.
If the email address is linked to an old or inactive account, contact us through one of the available channels below. We’ll help release the email address so you can use it with your active account.
When contacting us, make sure to include the email address you’re trying to add.
You’ve reached the maximum number of allowed email changes for this account
Contact us for assistance and provide us with the email address you wish to add.
What should I do if I don’t have access to my email address or phone number?
When updating your primary email address, you can choose to receive your 6-digit verification code to your current primary email address or registered phone number, depending on your active authentication methods.
In case you don’t have access to either, contact us via the contact channel below.

What should I do if I don’t receive the verification email?
Check the following:
- Check your spam folder to make sure our confirmation email hasn't landed there.
- Ensure you’re looking in the correct inbox or email folder.
- Make sure you're using a valid email address format.
- Double-check the spelling of the email address you've submitted.
- Add the Skrill domain as a trusted sender domain in your email client.
- Use popular email domains, such as Gmail, Outlook, Yahoo etc. to ensure you can receive automated emails from Skrill.
