How do I receive money using Skrill?

There are three basic ways to receive funds into your Skrill account:

  1. Fund it. Check the related article to see the most common deposit methods.
  2. Receive money from another Skrill user. To receive money as a personal user with Skrill, all you need is a valid email address or phone number.
  3. Receive funds from a merchant. You can cash out and receive the money to your Skrill wallet from any of our partner sites. We don't charge fees when you receive money from a merchant, however, some merchants may apply a fee on their end. It's better to check with the merchant directly.

When you request or wish to receive a payment from another Skrill customer, simply let the sender know the email address or phone number you've registered. They won't need any other personal or financial details from you, so rest assured that your account details are completely safe.

If you still haven't registered with Skrill but are already expecting a payment, sign up for a Skrill account now. You'll have 14 days to complete your registration before the transfer is automatically cancelled.

How long does it take?

Receiving money through Skrill is usually instant.  Currency conversion fees apply. If the payment was sent in a currency different than USD, we'll charge you a foreign exchange fee.

If there is any delay with your payment, visit our dedicated page or contact us.
