How to bet instantly using Skrill?
Many of your favorite iGaming websites accept Skrill because it’s fast and easy and brings secure yet instant payment methods to the checkout. Whether you're depositing funds or paying out, move your money at speed without having to share your card details.
You can fund your betting account using your Skrill account balance, your credit/debit card or pay directly from your bank account via iACH. To do this, simply:
- Visit the merchant website and navigate to the Checkout/Cashier section.
- Select Skrill as your preferred payment method and enter your deposit amount.
- You’ll be transferred to Skrill and asked to log in. If you don’t yet have an account, you would need to sign up for one; U.S. federal laws require us to collect certain information from you, so make sure that you register genuine details.
- Choose a payment option that suits you and confirm the transaction. If you pay directly from your bank balance, Skrill won’t see your banking credentials.
- You will then be taken back to the merchant website. It’s time to place your bets!
Note: Betting is subject to geo-targeting restrictions. To find out if you can legally bet in your state, contact the merchant directly.
How do I use instant bank transfer (iACH)?
If you choose to pay with iACH, you’ll be asked to select from a previously registered bank account or add a new one.
Adding a new checking account is easy, as you don’t need to enter your bank account details manually and you can do this on the checkout directly. We’ll ask you to search for your bank institution and redirect you to your online banking to log in. Once you’ve logged in successfully, we may ask you to receive a one-time code to your mobile phone number (the one your bank has on file for you or the one you’ve registered with Skrill) to verify your bank account.
Once you’ve linked your bank account, you can confirm your payment and return to the merchant website. With your next payment, we’ll show all previously used bank accounts and allowable transaction limits for them.
Are there any limits?
Your combined spending limit via iACH is a rolling weekly limit of 2,000 USD, if you’ve already verified your Skrill account. We apply additional limits for each bank account, which are calculated automatically and will be displayed to you at the time of the transaction. Those are subject to periodic review and may change based on your activity, history, and other factors.
If you wish to make a payment for a larger amount, please use an alternative option; for instance, you can use ACH to top up your Skrill account and then choose to pay on the merchant’s website directly from your Skrill balance.
Note: Your Skrill account is also subject to certain outgoing transaction limits for a rolling period based on your account verification and activity. We’ll display the allowable limit for each payment option at the time of the transaction.
In general, verifying one or more of your registered cards or bank accounts will increase your limits. This feature is currently not available on the mobile app. Instead, log in to your account from a web browser.
I’m having trouble making an iACH transfer. What should I do?
- Make sure you have sufficient funds in your bank account.
- When logging into your online banking to verify a new bank account, ensure you enter your correct credentials. If you’re uncertain, contact your bank for assistance.
- Use a checking account, as savings accounts are not supported for iACH transfers. If you don’t have a checking account, simply deposit via ACH in your Skrill account and then pay with your balance.
- Keep in mind that you can use only payment instruments held in your own name to fund your own account with the merchant.
I didn’t receive the SMS code. What should I do?
If you don’t receive the one-time code upon adding your bank account, check and update the mobile phone number linked with your bank or with Skrill.
It’s also important to ensure you have network reception and that your mobile operator allows you to receive automated SMS.
The instant bank transfer (iACH) option is grayed out. How do I check out?
If the whole iACH option is grayed out on the Skrill payment screen, this may mean that you’ve used up your current transaction limit or that your bank account is not supported for such payments. To complete your transfer, simply use an alternative payment option.
