We don’t share your details with retailers

You just need your email address and password to pay. Your card or bank details are never revealed.

The information we do transmit is encrypted to the highest standards of the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards (PCI-DSS Level 1), so your data is unreadable even if someone tries to intercept it.

Skrill was the first licensed e-money issuer in the UK and is authorised by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA). It’s a safe place for your money to be.

Stay alert

‘Phishing’ emails and other scams are a growing online threat. Please stay safe and remember that Skrill will NEVER contact you to ask for your password or payment details.

You can read more about some of the common ways fraudsters may try to target you in the Help topics below. Please get in touch here if you have any concerns.

Two-factor authentication

Account security is a priority at Skrill.  Google Authenticator provides an additional layer of security and is available to all Skrill customers to help keep your money safe. The Two Factor Authentication (2FA) application requires you to enter a code from your phone along with your email and password.

Everything you need to know about 2FA and how to add it to your account can be found here.
