1. Introduction
1.1. PLEASE READ THESE PROMOTION TERMS AND CONDITIONS CAREFULLY BEFORE PARTICIPATING IN THE PROMOTION. BY PARTICIPATING IN THE PROMOTION YOU WILL BE DEEMED TO HAVE ACCEPTED AND AGREED TO THESE PROMOTION TERMS AND CONDITIONS. AMONG OTHER THINGS, THESE PROMOTION TERMS AND CONDITIONS INCLUDE LIMITATIONS OF YOUR RIGHTS AND REMEDIES.
1.2. This Skrill Sign-Up Promotion (the “Promotion”) is brought to you (“you” or the “Participant”) by Paysafe Payment Solutions Limited, a company duly registered under the laws of Ireland under company number 626665, with registered office at 15 George’s Quay, Dublin 2, D02 VR98, Ireland, authorized by the Central Bank of Ireland (CBI) for the issuing of electronic money,
1.3. For the purposes of these Promotion Terms and Conditions, PPSL is referred to as "Skrill”, “we” or “us”.
1.4. Except as otherwise expressly set forth herein, these Promotion Terms and Conditions govern the Promotion and shall be read together and interpreted in conjunction with the Skrill Account Terms of Use. In the event of any conflict or inconsistency between the Skrill Account Terms of Use and these Promotion Terms and Conditions, the Promotion Terms and Conditions shall prevail (only to the extent of the conflict or inconsistency).
1.5. Capitalized terms used but not defined in these Promotion Terms and Conditions shall have the meaning given in the Skrill Account Terms of Use.
2. The Promotion
2.1. This Promotion is for a limited time only and runs from 5 January 2026 00:00 GMT until 31 December 2026 23:59 GMT (the “Promotion Period”). We reserve the right to extend, shorten, or otherwise amend the Promotion Period at our sole discretion. Any such changes will be communicated via email, sent to your primary email address registered with your Skrill Account.
2.2. This Promotion is available to new customers residing in Spain who successfully register for a Skrill Account during the Promotion Period. Eligible Participants may earn a total of 10,000 Knect points (equivalent to EUR 10 in redemption value) by completing the following qualifying actions within the Promotion Period:
- First Action: Make a minimum deposit of EUR 10 to receive 4,000 Knect points;
- Second Action: Complete at least one merchant transaction of EUR 10 or more to receive additional 6,000 Knect points. The transaction must be with a Skrill Eligible Merchant as defined in Clause 6.
Each portion of the Knect points bonus will be credited to the Participant’s account only after Skrill verifies and confirms that each corresponding qualifying action have been completed within the Promotion Period.
Important: Each Eligible Participant must complete both qualifying actions within 30 days of registering their Skrill Account. If the actions are not completed within this 30-day window, the Reward will expire and will no longer be available to that Participant, even if the Promotion Period has not ended.
3. Eligibility Criteria
3.1. To participate in the Promotion, you must:
a) be at least 18 years of age;
b) be a new customer residing in Spain who successfully registers for a Skrill Account during the Promotion Period, and has not previously held or used a Skrill Account;
c) have successfully completed Skrill’s KYC/verification and have an active Knect participation status (if applicable) in order to receive Knect points;
d) complete the qualifying actions within the Promotion Period as set out in Clause 5 “Eligible Transactions”;
e) use your Skrill Account only for personal, non-commercial purposes;
f) not be an employee of any company in the Paysafe group, nor an immediate family member of such employee. For avoidance of doubt, an “immediate family member” means any individual with any of the following relationships to the employee: a/ spouse, and parents thereof; b/ sons and daughters, and spouses thereof; c/ parents, and spouses thereof; d/ brothers and sisters, and spouses thereof; e/ grandparents and grandchildren, and spouses thereof; f/ domestic partner and parents thereof, including domestic partners of any individual in a/ through g/ of this definition; and g/ any individual related by blood or affinity whose close association with the employee is the equivalent of a family relationship;
g) not be a service provider of any company in the Paysafe group, nor a direct family member of such service provider;
h) not reside in or use your Skrill Account from any country or jurisdiction where Skrill is prohibited from offering services or where this Promotion is illegal or otherwise prohibited;
i) not violate any applicable Skrill terms, including abuse, fraud or gaming of the Promotion, and hold only one Skrill Account (multiple accounts/disposable devices prohibited).
The above mentioned are collectively referred to as the “Eligibility Criteria”.
If you satisfy the Eligibility Criteria, you are a Qualifying Participant for the purposes of this Promotion (an “Eligible Participant”).
3.2. Skrill reserves the right to require Participants to provide evidence demonstrating that they meet any or all of the Eligibility Criteria and may at its discretion disqualify any Participant if such evidence is not provided within a reasonable time stipulated by Skrill or if Skrill (acting reasonably) is not satisfied that the Eligibility Criteria are met.
3.3. Use of script, macro or any automated system to enter the Promotion is prohibited and entries made (or which appear to have been made) using any such system shall be treated as void. Any illegible, incomplete or fraudulent entries shall be rejected.
4. Reward
4.1. Each Eligible Participant will have the applicable Knect points Bonus credited into their Skrill Account after Skrill verifies that the corresponding qualifying actions set out in Clause 5 have been successfully completed within the Promotion Period. The Bonus consists of:
• 4,000 Knect points for completing the minimum deposit of EUR 10; and
• 6,000 Knect points for completing a merchant transaction of at least EUR 10 with a Skrill Eligible Merchant as defined in Clause 6.
Both actions must be completed within the Promotion Period to earn the full Bonus of 10,000 Knect points (equivalent to EUR 10 in redemption value). Partial rewards (4,000 or 6,000 Knect points) cannot be redeemed to a proportional EUR amount, and can only be used within the Knect loyalty program according to its terms.
4.2. Skrill will use reasonable efforts to credit the Bonus within 30 business days following successful verification.
4.3. The Bonus is non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and final. No cash or other alternative will be offered. Skrill reserves the right to withhold or reverse the Bonus in cases of suspected fraud, abuse, or breach of these Terms.
5. Eligible Transactions
5.1. For the purposes of this Promotion, an “Eligible Transaction” shall mean any of the following actions successfully completed from the Participant’s Skrill Account during the Promotion Period:
(i) a minimum deposit of EUR 10, which qualifies the Eligible Participant to receive 4,000 Knect points; and
(ii) a merchant transaction of at least EUR 10 made to any Skrill Eligible Merchant as referred to in clause 6 “Eligible Merchant”, which qualifies the Eligible Participant to receive an additional 6,000 Knect points.
Each action will be considered an “Eligible Transaction” only once it has been successfully processed and verified by Skrill. Both actions must be completed within the Promotion Period to earn the full bonus of 10,000 Knect points (equivalent to EUR 10 in redemption value).
5.2. Some Eligible Merchants may have a minimum transaction amount to initiate a transaction, which is based on the sole discretion of the merchant and is not in any way related to the activities under this Promotion.
5.3. Any transaction that is subsequently refunded, in full or in part, by an Eligible Merchant to your Skrill Account shall not be considered an Eligible Transaction. We reserve the right, in our sole discretion, to exclude certain transactions, including but not limited to chargebacks and/or refunds, or any transactions subject to specific prohibitions.
5.4. For the avoidance of doubt, Person-to-Person send money transactions shall not be considered Eligible Transactions.
5.5. Skrill is not responsible for any delays or failures to meet any of the Eligibility Criteria due to acts or omissions of third parties, including but not limited to Eligible Merchants, banks and any other payment institutions involved in the processing of the potential Eligible Transaction due to verification checks or any other actions that are beyond our control.
6. Eligible Merchants
6.1. All merchants that accept Skrill payments are eligible (“Eligible Merchants”), except for the “Excluded Merchants” which are detailed in Clause 6.2. below.
6.2. At the time these Terms and Conditions are published, there are no Excluded Merchants. However, Skrill reserves the right to update the Excluded Merchants list at any time during the Promotion. Any merchant added to the Excluded Merchants list after the start of the Promotion will no longer qualify as an Eligible Merchant from the date of such update. For the purposes of this Promotion, any merchant that is not listed as an Excluded Merchant and that accepts Skrill transfers shall be deemed an Eligible Merchant.
7. Privacy and personal data
7.1. Participants acknowledge that for the purpose of participating in this promotion certain of their personal information (first name, surname initial and country location) may be published on different channels including but not limited to emails, social media and online broadcast.
7.2. The processing of Participants’ data is governed by the Paysafe Group Privacy Notice which can be found on our website (https://www.paysafe.com/eu-en/paysafegroup/comprehensive-privacy-notice/).
8. Confidentiality
8.1. Confidential Information means any information which is marked as “Confidential” or should be reasonably expected to be confidential having regard to the context of disclosure or the nature of the information; including, without prejudice to the generality of the foregoing, business plans, data, strategies, methods, customer and client lists, technical specifications, transaction data and customer data shall be deemed confidential.
8.2. During the Promotion Period and thereafter, we shall use and reproduce the Participants’ Confidential Information only for purposes of this Promotion and only to the extent necessary for such purpose and will restrict disclosure of the Confidential Information to our employees, consultants, advisors, independent contractors or third parties with a need to know.
8.3. Notwithstanding the foregoing, it shall not be a breach of this Promotion for us to disclose Confidential Information if required to do so under law or in a judicial or governmental investigation or proceeding.
8.4. The confidentiality obligations in this Clause 8 shall not apply to information that (i) is or becomes public knowledge through no action or fault of; (ii) is known to us without restriction, prior to receipt from the participant in relation to this Promotion, from our own independent sources, and which was not acquired, directly or indirectly, from the participant; (iii) we receive from any third party reasonably known by us to have a legal right to transmit such information, and not under any obligation to keep such information confidential; or (iv) information independently developed by our employees or agents provided that we can show that those same employees or agents had no access to the Confidential Information received hereunder.
9. General terms
9.1. By entering this Promotion, you agreed to these Promotion Terms and Conditions.
9.2. The Promotion is not available to residents of countries where it might be considered illegal and/or prohibited.
9.3. As far as the law allows, we and our employees, agents, or distributors are not responsible for any loss or damage related to taking part (or trying to take part) in this Promotion. This includes all types of claims, whether based on contract, warranty, negligence, or any other legal basis, and covers all kinds of liability (direct, indirect, special, incidental, exemplary, punitive, or consequential). This does not affect your legal rights. We also do not limit or exclude any liability where the law says we cannot - such as for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other matter where liability cannot be excluded by law.
9.4. All decisions made by us are final and binding and no further correspondence will be entered into.
9.5. We are not responsible for: (1) any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by participants, printing errors or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilised in the Promotion; (2) technical failures of any kind, including, but not limited to malfunctions, interruptions, or disconnections in phone lines or network hardware or software; (3) unauthorised human intervention in any part of the entry process or the Promotion; (4) technical or human error which may occur in the administration of the Promotion or the processing of entries; or (5) any injury or damage to persons or property which may be caused, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from participation in the Promotion or receipt or use or misuse of any Reward, prize, bonus, or commission.
9.6. If you are residing in a country outside the EEA, all issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation, enforceability, or resolution of any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Promotion Terms and Conditions, or the rights and obligations of the participant and us in connection with the Promotion, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules (whether of England or any other jurisdiction) which would cause the application of the laws of any jurisdiction other than England and Wales. Any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with these Promotion Terms and Conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
9.7. If you are residing in a country within the EEA, all issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation, enforceability, or resolution of any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Promotion Terms and Conditions, or the rights and obligations of the participant and us in connection with the Promotion, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with the laws of Ireland, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules (whether of Ireland or any other jurisdiction) which would cause the application of the laws of any jurisdiction other than Ireland. Any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with these Promotion Terms and Conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ireland.
9.8. We reserve the right to modify, cancel, terminate or suspend the Promotion in whole or in part, at our sole discretion, if we believe the Promotion is not capable of being conducted as specified within these Promotion Terms and Conditions or in the event of a virus, a computer bug or unauthorised human intervention or any other cause that is beyond our reasonable control that could corrupt or affect the administration, security, impartiality or normal course of the Promotion.
9.9. We reserve the right to hold void, cancel, suspend or amend the Promotion or these Terms and Conditions at any time in our sole discretion. Any changes will be communicated to participants via email, sent to the primary email address registered with the Skrill Account. Continued participation in the Promotion following any such changes shall constitute acceptance of these changes.
9.10. We accept no responsibility for entries not successfully completed due to a technical fault, technical malfunction, computer hardware or software failure, satellite, network or server failure of any kind.
9.11. We shall not be liable for delay in performing, or failure to perform, any of our obligations under these Promotion Terms and Conditions, if such delay or failure result from events, circumstances or causes beyond our reasonable control, such as but not limited to fire, flood, earthquake, adverse weather conditions, strike, war (declared or undeclared), embargo, blockade, legal prohibition, governmental action, riot, insurrection, damage, destruction, flight or other transportation delays or cancellations.
9.12. If there is any discrepancy between any translated version and the (original) English language version of these Promotion Terms and Conditions, the English version shall prevail.
9.13. Should any provision of these Promotion Terms and Conditions be deemed to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
9.14. These Promotion Terms and Conditions constitute the entire agreement between us and the Participant regarding the Promotion and supersede any prior communications or agreements.
