SKRILL VIP LOYALTY CLUB TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. How to participate

1.1. In order to become a VIP Loyalty Club member of the Skrill VIP Loyalty Club (the “VIP Loyalty Club”), you must comply with the following conditions:

1.1.1. You must have a full Skrill account.

1.1.2. You must have Skrill VIP status.

1.1.3. You must have accepted these Terms and Conditions by accepting your invitation to the Skrill VIP Loyalty Club.

1.1.4. Not reside in the United States of America.

1.2. By accepting these Terms and Conditions you also agree to receive additional email communication from Skrill and Promotional Partners, but only in relation to the VIP Loyalty Club. Further information can also be found in our Privacy Policy.

1.3. Only holders of a Skrill personal account are eligible to participate in the VIP Loyalty Club. Holders of business accounts are excluded.

2. Description of VIP Loyalty Club Points Redemption

2.1. All VIP Loyalty Club members earn 1 loyalty point for every €1 sent to Merchants (“Loyalty Point”), except for Merchants listed in the Merchant Exclusions.

2.2. Money sent in any currency other than Euro will be converted to an equivalent Euro amount using Skrill's FX rate of the day on which the transaction took place.

2.3. Loyalty Points are allocated to the VIP Loyalty Club member starting from the day the VIP Loyalty Club membership confirmation email was received. Loyalty Points allocation will end upon termination of the VIP Loyalty Club membership or loss of Skrill VIP status.

2.4. The VIP Loyalty Club member’s Loyalty Points balance is updated every 24 hours and can be found in the My Account overview section.

2.5. Loyalty Points accrued in any one calendar month can be carried over to the following calendar month up to the maximum Points Balance allocated to that VIP Loyalty Club member. Details of the maximum Points Balance can be found here.

2.6. On the 27th day of each calendar month, Skrill will review each VIP Loyalty Club member’s Points Balance.

2.7. Any Points over and above the maximum Points balance applicable to the VIP Loyalty Club member will be voided.

2.8. Loyalty Club Points cannot be transferred, bartered, sold or traded in any way.

2.9. Loyalty Points earned can only be used in the Skrill VIP Store. All rewards are available to all Skrill VIP levels, i.e. Bronze, Silver, Gold and Diamond members.

2.10. Skrill reserves the right to void a VIP Loyalty Club member’s Points Balance in the following circumstances:

2.10.1. The VIP Loyalty Club member loses his Skrill VIP Status.

2.10.2. No transactions have been made by the VIP Loyalty Club member in any consecutive 6 month period.

3. Eligible transactions

3.1. Transactions eligible for Loyalty Points allocation are any Send Money Transactions to Skrill Merchants that are not otherwise excluded (“Eligible Transactions”). For a complete list of excluded Merchants, please see the Merchant Exclusions. Eligible transactions include transactions from linked accounts with VIP status.

3.2. The following do not qualify as Eligible Transactions:

3.2.1. Player account withdrawals paid into your Skrill Account,

3.2.2. withdrawals from your Skrill account or

3.2.3. person to person transactions

3.3. Skrill reserves the right to disregard any transactions that Skrill in its sole but reasonable discretion deems to be an abuse of the VIP Loyalty Club Terms and Conditions, including but not limited to, transactions that have no commercial purpose, multiple transactions that are made to artificially increase the chance of winning or transactions that are not for the personal purpose of the VIP Loyalty Club member. VIP Loyalty Club members will be informed in all cases where Loyalty Points have been voided due to disregarded transactions.

3.4. Any abuse of the program or failure to follow program rules may result in the termination of VIP Loyalty Club membership and forfeiture of all accrued Loyalty Points, as well as withdrawal of Skrill VIP status.

4. Availability and shipment of rewards

4.1. A list of the rewards is available at the Skrill VIP Store.

4.2. Skrill reserves the right to substitute or add items at any time to periodically re-new the selections or at its sole discretion.

4.3. VIP Loyalty Club members can only select the rewards that are listed in the Skrill VIP Store at the time of redemption. Non-cash rewards cannot be substituted for cash.

4.4. In order to ship rewards, Skrill may require further information from the VIP Loyalty Club members such as a valid shipping address.

4.5. VIP Loyalty Club members are not required to pay for shipping or to pay any other fees or charges or incur any costs in connection with receiving the reward. However, in certain occasions duty taxes may result significantly higher charges upon which we will contact the member on alternative options.

4.6. Rewards shall be shipped up to 28 days of the date of redemption. EU and Worldwide shipments are estimated to take no more than 5 working days before they arrive, longer delivery times may be expected if the item needs to be cleared through customs. UK shipments are estimated to take no more than 3 days for delivery.

4.7. The VIP Loyalty Club member acknowledges that the reward fulfilment is handled by a third party. Skrill shall not be liable for any delays or non-delivery of rewards. VIP Loyalty Club members that have enquiries about their shipment or any complaint should contact their VIP account manager.

4.8. Skrill shall not be liable for the further usage of any rewards after their receipt by the participants and any implied terms relating to the supply of goods and services are hereby expressly excluded to the extent legally permissible.

5. Changes to Terms and Conditions

5.1. Skrill reserves the right to change these Terms and Conditions at any time.

5.2. Changes to the VIP Loyalty Club Terms & Conditions will be communicated to you by sending an email to the email address registered with your Skrill Account at least one month before the change comes into effect. The one month notice period will not apply where we believe in our reasonable opinion that the change neither reduces your rights nor increases your obligations. In such instances, the change will become effective without prior notice.

5.3. If a VIP Loyalty Club member wishes to reject any proposed programme changes, VIP Loyalty Club membership may be duly terminated by means of written notification to Skrill. Any Loyalty Points earned by the VIP Loyalty Club member will remain in his Points Balance and, provided that the member retains his Skrill VIP Status, can be converted to coupons taking into consideration any inactive period and maximum Point Balance provisions.

6. Termination

6.1. The VIP Loyalty Club shall continue in full force and effect for an indefinite period unless terminated by either party. Skrill reserves the right to discontinue or terminate the VIP Loyalty Club and to terminate VIP Loyalty Club membership and associated benefits, at its sole discretion and at any time, but will use reasonable endeavours to give at least 1 month notice to VIP Loyalty Club members, in case of a termination. At the end of the period of notice, each VIP Loyalty Club member acknowledges that their right to use the VIP Loyalty Club membership and benefits will cease.

6.2. The VIP Loyalty Club membership will automatically terminate if a member loses his Skrill VIP Status. Rights to use the VIP Loyalty membership and benefits will cease upon such loss of Skrill VIP Status.

6.3. In the event of membership termination, all Loyalty Points accrued up to the date of termination will be voided.

7. Legal Recourse

7.1. By joining the Skrill VIP Loyalty Club, you accept these Terms and Conditions.

7.2. Skrill reserves the right to refuse any VIP Loyalty Club rewards or benefits, where we have reason to believe that you have breached or tried to breach these Terms and Conditions, or the Terms of Use of your Skrill Account, or attempted to circumvent Skrill’s security or operational procedures. We reserve the right to refuse the allocation of Points to members of the VIP Loyalty Club who are participating in other VIP promotions. All decisions by Skrill are final.

7.3. These Terms and Conditions and any legal relationship between the parties arising out of or in connection with them shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales regardless of the venue or jurisdiction in which a dispute is being determined. Each party hereby irrevocably submits to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts.

9. Definitions

Merchant exclusions means the list of Merchant Exclusions for Loyalty Point allocations found here.
Points Balance means the difference between the Loyalty Points earned minus the Loyalty Points redeemed for cash or rewards.

Skrill means Skrill Ltd. (registered number: 4260907) trading as Skrill, whose registered office is at Welken House, 10-11 Charterhouse Square, London EC1M 6EH, United Kingdom

Skrill Account means the user’s registered electronic money account(s) held with Skrill in accordance with the Terms of Use available on the website currently accessible at new.skrill.com/en/siteinformation/terms-conditions/
