3D Secure - Skrill Prepaid Mastercard® - Terms of Use

What is 3D Secure?

1. 3D Secure is an additional security feature of your Skrill Prepaid Mastercard which is used to authenticate certain online transactions. For some online transactions, you will be asked to confirm the transaction using 3D Secure before it is processed.

How does it work?

2. If you are asked to verify a transaction using 3D Secure, you may receive a text message with a one-time passcode which you will be asked to use to confirm your payment, or you may receive a notification on your personal device asking you to log-in to your Skrill account and follow instructions to confirm the payment.

3. There is no charge to your Skrill account for using 3D Secure, but you will be responsible for fees charged by your mobile phone provider and internet service providers when using this feature.

Security

4. Your Skrill Prepaid Mastercard Terms and Conditions and your Skrill Account Terms of Use apply to payments you make using your Skrill Prepaid Mastercard, including transactions which are verified using 3D Secure.

5. You must keep any 3D Secure one time password you receive safe and confidential, and you must take reasonable precautions to keep any device or security credentials used to authenticate a transaction through 3D Secure safe and secure. You must notify us immediately, using the contact details in your Skrill Prepaid Mastercard Terms and Conditions, if you think that someone may have accessed your Skrill account or the 3D Secure Service without your authority.

Privacy

6. We will need to share some of the personal information we collect from you for security and verification purposes (e.g., mobile phone number) with our third party service providers who held us administer 3D Secure.

Changes to 3D Secure and to these terms of use

8. We reserve the right to discontinue the 3D Secure feature without notice. We may also make changes to the service, so you are encouraged to read these terms of use each time you use 3D Secure service.

Definitions

9. In these terms of use, “us” or “we” means Paysafe Payment Solutions Limited, a company registered in Ireland (company number 626665) if you are a resident of the European Economic Area (EEA) or Skrill Limited, a company registered in England (company number 04260907) if you are resident outside of the EEA.
