Can I add my Skrill Visa® Prepaid Card to a mobile payment wallet?

You can add your Skrill Visa® Prepaid Card to a mobile wallet. Depending on your device, the following mobile wallets are available:

How do I add my Skrill Visa® card to my mobile payment device?
 

Add your card directly via the Skrill application:

This method is currently available for Apple Pay® and Google Pay™ users only.

1. Visit the Cards section and select between your Plastic/Virtual card. 
2. Click on the Add to Apple/Google Pay wallet button> Click on your phone`s navigation button>Next and Agree to the mobile wallet`s Terms of Use.
3. A confirmation screen informing you of the mobile wallet registration status will be displayed.

Add your card via the mobile wallet application:

1. Start by downloading the mobile wallet app, on your device (it may be pre-installed). Once you launch the app, you can tap to add a new payment card.
2. You will be asked to scan/enter your card details and add some personal information. Find further instructions on the mobile wallet provider`s official website. 

Regardless of your chosen method for card registration, you may be asked to verify your card enrollment via a one-time passcode sent via SMS or e-mail. Once you receive the passcode, enter it on the mobile wallet app to confirm your card registration. 

 

I failed to add my Skrill Visa® card to my mobile device. What should I do?

If you receive a message confirming the failure of adding your card, please contact us for further assistance. 

 

How do I pay with my mobile payment device?

For online purchases, mobile payments are possible wherever you see the, Google Pay™ and Apple Pay® logos. For in-store purchases, look for this contactless payment symbol and tap or hold your device near the payment terminal.

 

Where can I see my payment history?

Mobile payments will appear under your regular Skrill Visa® transaction history in your Skrill account

 

What should I do if I lose my device?

If your device is lost or stolen, you can immediately lock your Skrill card and temporarily stop all transactions via the Skrill card section. In addition, payments from your device using a mobile wallet require additional authentication (Biometric authentication such as Face ID/Touch ID, or Phone PIN/Passcode).

In case you lose your device, your tokenized card cannot be used for payments without this additional authentication by you as the device owner.

 

What are the fees and limits?
