Why is my withdrawal to a crypto wallet missing?

Don't invest unless you're prepared to lose all the money you invest. This is a high-risk investment and you should not expect to be protected if something goes wrong. Take two minutes to learn more.

Withdrawal to Crypto wallet is available in selected countries only. To see if this feature is available for you, visit the Withdraw section in your account.

Blockchain transactions usually take between 5 and 60 minutes to appear in the recipient crypto wallet.

In rare cases, your transaction may remain pending for up to 24 hours. If the withdrawal fails, we will notify you onscreen, or send an e-mail notification once the transaction status is updated.

If your crypto withdrawal appears as successful in your account, but the transaction was not received into your crypto wallet:

  • Check your Skrill account transaction history to see if there is an error in the provided crypto address as each address is unique.
  • Check your crypto wallet to see whether the block with the respective transaction has been verified. There might be networking congestion, which can lead to verification delays.

You can review your transaction on the blockchain by selecting it from the transaction history in your Skrill account and pressing ‘View transaction on the blockchain’. Once you’ve opened the link, follow these steps depending on the cryptocurrency you’ve withdrawn to:

Bitcoin

  1. Locate the withdrawal in BTC directly using the crypto ‘Amount received’ value and then click on the respective ID.
  2. The block where your transaction is recorded will be displayed along with the hash.

Ethereum

  1. Press on the Internal transactions tab in Etherscan.
  2. Then, search by the crypto ‘Amount received’ value which is available in your Skrill account transaction history.
  3. You will find the hash by pressing on the ‘Txn HASH’ link of the respective transaction.

USD Coin and Tether

  1. Press on the Token transfers (ERC-20) tab in Etherscan.
  2. Then, search by the crypto ‘Amount received’ value which is available in your Skrill account transaction history.
  3. You will find the hash by pressing on the ‘Txn HASH’ link of the respective transaction.
