How does the Skrill mobile application work?

With the Skrill mobile app you can easily transact and keep an eye on your funds anywhere you go. You just need to download the app on your mobile device and make sure you have stable Internet connection when using it.

The official Skrill app is available for download from the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store. Keep in mind that these are the only official apps available for use with your Skrill account.

Once you've downloaded the app, simply log in (or register, if you don't yet have an account) and navigate to the section you wish to use.

ℹ️ Make sure to always update your mobile app! Our services are subject to continuous improvement. Some of the new features may be incompatible with older versions of the application, which will result in failed transactions.

Can I upload my documents using the Skrill mobile app?

Yes, you can upload your documents using the Skrill mobile app. Once you log in, simply navigate to the Settings > Verification section and follow the on-screen instructions.

Note: Sometimes we may require additional documentation to verify your details. In such cases, you won't be able to use the app and will be redirected to upload your documents via the Skrill website instead.

Can I transact using the Skrill mobile app?

You can make the same payments both via the app and the website: deposit funds, send money to merchants and other customers, trade with crypto or withdraw to your bank account.

All available payment options are listed within the relevant sections on the bottom of your screen.

You can also check your previous transactions when you navigate to the Dashboard section: you'll see your available balance, Knect points, if enrolled in the program, and then your payments history.

With the Skrill app you'll also be able to apply for a Skrill prepaid card, check your card details and manage your transactions, as well as deactivate or temporarily block your card, when necessary.

Can I use additional security with the Skrill app?

You can use any of your enabled login methods both via web and via the app but you can set up such security layers only via web login.

Within the Skrill app, you can choose to enable your fingerprint as a login method. There are two options to do this:

  • Upon login, you'll be asked to confirm whether you wish to use your fingerprint. If you select yes, you'll be first asked to confirm your Skrill account 6-digit PIN code and then touch your phone sensor to confirm your fingerprint.
  • When you're already logged into your account, click on the profile icon in the top right corner. Under your account details, check the Log in with your fingerprint tab.

I have lost my mobile device and I have 2-factor authentication enabled, what can I do?
