With the Alerts feature, you can receive a notification when the price of a selected cryptocurrency reaches a level you have defined beforehand. Alerts is a useful tool if you’re not constantly watching crypto prices but want to get notified as soon as a coin reaches a specific value.

You can set a price alert in 3 simple steps:

  1. Visit the Crypto > Market data section and click the Alerts bell icon.
  2. Enter the price for which you want to receive an alert. You can set it in fiat and for some crypto-currencies in Bitcoin.
  3. Click on Create alert.

Cryptocurrency market-data page with a centered “Create alert - BTC” dialog over a dimmed list of digital currencies. The dialog shows the current Bitcoin price as EUR 40,782.40 and provides fields for entering a target price in EUR. “Cancel” and purple “Create alert” controls appear at the bottom, with a close icon in the upper-right corner. Behind the dialog, the market table lists cryptocurrencies with price charts, market sentiment, “Trade” buttons, alert icons, and send icons. A left navigation menu includes Dashboard, Deposit, Withdraw, Send, Exchange, Trade, Skrill Card, Transactions, Knect, Settings, Contact Us, FAQ, and Promotions.

Ethereum trading page showing a five-year price chart and an instant-buy form. Ethereum is priced at EUR 2,485.45, representing a 1,252.09% increase over the selected period. The turquoise area chart spans August 2020 to February 2024, peaking near EUR 4,000 before ending above EUR 2,000. Market sentiment shows 53.36% buyers and 46.64% sellers. The buy form uses EUR to purchase ETH, shows an available balance of EUR 14.26 and a minimum purchase of EUR 0.85, and includes 25%, 50%, 75%, and 100% amount buttons. Fees and total are EUR 0.00 because no amount has been entered, so the “Next” and “Send” buttons are disabled. An “Alerts” button appears below the form.

  • Once the set price is reached you will receive an e-mail and/or a mobile app push notification, depending on your notification settings.
  • Once an Alert executes, it automatically deactivates. A new Alert should be set if necessary.
  • You can review, deactivate, or delete your alerts at any time via the Portfolio or Тrade tab.

You can also set a Limit order to buy or sell a selected cryptocurrency when its price reaches a certain level. It will be completed automatically, so you wouldn't have to lose time to log in and make a trade.

How to enable push notifications?

  1. Open the Skrill app.
