You can use Sofort to fund your Skrill Money Transfer transaction via your bank account if you are in one of the following countries: Austria, Belgium, Germany, Italy, Spain and the Netherlands. 

Sofort will appear as an option in the Pay with section of Skrill Money Transfer. The payments are processed in EUR.

Can I pay using another person’s bank account?

No, payments must come from a bank account in your name as registered on your Skrill account. We cannot accept payments from bank accounts with a different name. Making a payment from a joint account (where you are one of the named account holders) may be accepted but additional verification may be required.

How long does a Sofort funded bank transfer take?

Funds usually take 1-4 days (not including weekends) to arrive at Skrill. The Skrill Money Transfer will be processed afterwards. The expected time it will take will be displayed on screen when you choose your destination country and payment method.

What if the payment fails to reach the recipient?

Any failed transfers will be returned to the sender’s bank account. Refunds usually take 24-48 hours to be processed. After that, it may take 2-5 business days to reflect in your bank account.

Are there any limits on the amount that can be sent through Sofort?

There are limits for single transactions as well as cumulative limits for continuous transactions. These limits vary per country and will appear on screen when you attempt to send more money than is permitted.

Can I cancel my transfer? 

Transfers cannot be cancelled once we have received your payment and sent to your chosen destination.
