About Tezos
Tezos is an open source platform for assets and decentralised applications (dApps) that ran a successful ICO in 2017, raising $232 million US dollars. Launching its beta network a year after, it has since grown to be one of the most successful cryptocurrencies.
Tezos utilises Proof-of-Stake to secure it’s network. When users delegate or stake in the network, they receive a percentage of newly minted Tezos. This is proportional to the overall amount of staked Tezos and prevents holders from being diluted through inflation.
