Knect – Skrill’s Loyalty Programme FAQs

Knect is Skrill Ltd.’s (“Skrill”) loyalty programme (“Programme”), which rewards Skrill account holders for making transactions and connections. Every time you transfer funds using Skrill, you earn Knect loyalty points which can be exchanged for a variety of rewards and gifts.

Subject to the Skrill Knect Loyalty Programme Rules in order to be able to sign up to the Knect programme, it must be available in your country and you must be a current Skrill account holder. Additional qualifying criteria may apply.

Enrole into the Knect programme by:

a) Logging in to your existing Skrill account via

b) Selecting ‘Knect ’ using the top navigation link;

c) Accepting the Skrill Knect Loyalty Programme Rules.

By joining Knect, you agree that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by the Skrill Knect Loyalty Programme Rules and by any changes or modifications we may make to those terms and conditions at any point of time.

Please refer to the Skrill Knect Loyalty Rules for the full version of the terms and conditions of the Programme. We may run customized ad-hoc promotions available to groups of users for limited periods of time. All such promotions will be communicated to eligible participants upfront. 

You earn points by conducting any of the below listed Qualifying Transactions (as defined in the Skrill Knect Loyalty Programme Rules). The table shows the current points you receive per one euro (currency equivalent)

You also have the option to boost your points by taking part in our ad-hoc customized promotions.

a. You have made an upload to your Skrill account from our multiple depositing options, excluding NETELLER, Bitpay and Paysafe card.

Transactions to some merchants might not qualify you for the earning of points. For more information please visit the Knect Module on ‘My Account’ and familiarize yourselves with the Skrill Knect Loyalty Programme Rules.

Yes, you can earn a maximum of 1,000 (one thousand) points per qualifying transaction and a combined limit of 500,000 (five hundred thousand) points in a calendar month.

Any rounding will be done to the lower number (for example, if you transact an amount of up to EUR 0.5 you will get zero points. If you transact an amount of EUR 1.1 – EUR 1.9 you will receive 1 loyalty point).

Points will expire on a fixed date every rolling calendar year, after you have earned the points. The fixed rolling calendar day, month and time is 1st January 00:00 GMT

Example: if you earn points on 4 February 2020, they will expire 1 January 2022 at 00:00.GMT

There will be a wide variety of rewards you can redeem your points for. Please refer to the ‘Redeem loyalty points’ section within your Knect dashboard, for all currently available rewards.

Please note: we are always updating rewards to ensure they are relevant to you. Be sure to check back regularly to see what new rewards are available for you.

a) Log in to your Skrill account and using the side navigation, click on Knect
b) Select ‘Spend points’ in the top navigation on your Knect dashboard; 
c) Select your reward.

Points will be made available upon settlement of your transaction, which typically happens within a few hours after authorization.

a) Go to your Knect dashboard, by logging into your Skrill account and click ‘Knect‘ using the side navigation.
b) Select "Points history" within the top navigation

In the case of fraud or abuse with respect to participation in the Skrill Knect Loyalty Programme or involving points or in case Skrill have reasonable grounds to suspect you in fraud or abuse with respect to participation in the Skrill Knect Loyalty Programme or involving points, Skrill have the right, in its sole discretion, to take appropriate administrative and/or legal action, and all points earned through the Programme by you may be forfeited and your Programme participation terminated. Fraud or abuse includes, but is not limited to, any activity between Skrill account holders or between Skrill account holders and merchants whose principal purpose is to earn points. If any information provided by you is untrue, inaccurate, not current or incomplete, or Skrill have reasonable grounds to suspect that such information is untrue, inaccurate, not current or incomplete, we have the right to terminate your Programme participation and refuse any and all current or future access to, or use of the Programme. Membership in the Programme, including any points that may have been issued to you, may be revoked or suspended at Skrill’s sole discretion.

Yes. Skrill may, in its sole discretion, cancel, amend, modify, restrict, and/or terminate the Knect Loyalty Programme, or any aspect or feature of the Knect Loyalty Programme, upon 30 days’ prior notice, even if such changes may affect points already earned and/or the value of a reward already accumulated and/or the ability to redeem. Changes that make the Knect Loyalty Programme more favourable to you shall come into effect immediately if so stated in the change notice. We usually contact you via email. For this purpose you must at all times maintain at least one valid email address in your Skrill Account profile. You are required to check for incoming messages regularly and frequently. Emails may contain links to further communication on our Website.  

If you decide you no longer want to be part of the Knect Loyalty Programme, you may cancel your participation at any time by:

a) Logging into, 
b) Using the side navigation select ‘Settings’ 
c) Clicking on ’Account settings‘ 
d) Selecting Loyalty programme 
e) Clicking on ‘Deactivate’

Your points history will be saved for a further 12 months’ period. After that, if you have not re-opted into the Knect Loyalty programme your points and history will be removed permanently. To re-opt in go back to your Skrill account, select ‘Knect’ in the top navigation and re-join.

As a general rule, the use of your Skrill Prepaid Mastercard® is subject to the Skrill Prepaid Mastercard® Terms and Conditions.
